Meeld's Expansion Story: Growing Our Delivery Network Across the US

From a single city in Florida to a multi-state last-mile delivery network — here's how Meeld grew to cover 11 states and counting.

When Troika Express LLC launched Meeld, the idea was simple: build the delivery service that restaurants and businesses actually needed — reliable, professional, and transparent. What happened next exceeded every projection.

Where It Started

Meeld began in Tampa, Florida. The founding team had years of logistics experience and saw a consistent problem: catering and B2B deliveries were being handled by consumer-oriented gig platforms that weren't built for professional, time-sensitive work. Restaurants were losing clients. Law firms were missing filing deadlines. Pharmacies couldn't guarantee delivery windows.

The answer was a platform specifically designed for professional last-mile delivery — with trained drivers, real-time tracking, and dispatch teams that understood business needs.

The Growth Timeline

2022

Launched in Tampa Bay with a team of 50 drivers. First restaurant partnerships signed in the first week.

2023

Expanded to Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, and Atlanta. Driver network grew past 1,000. Launched the Meeld Driver app on Android and iOS.

2024

Expanded into additional states across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Driver network grew past 400. Launched Meeld Express — the browser-based ordering platform at express.meeld.co.

2025–2026

Now operating in 11 states with over 700 active drivers. Maintaining a 99.2% on-time delivery rate across the network.

What Makes This Growth Sustainable

Many delivery platforms grow fast and then collapse under operational weight. Meeld's approach has been different: only expand to a new market when the driver supply and dispatch infrastructure are ready. We don't enter a city just to plant a flag — we enter when we can serve businesses at the standard they expect.

Driver Quality First

Every Meeld driver goes through identity verification, license checks, vehicle inspection, and background screening before their first delivery.

Dedicated Dispatch

Unlike automated-only platforms, Meeld has human dispatchers who can handle exceptions, communicate with restaurants, and solve problems in real time.

What's Next

The target is continued expansion — deepening presence in existing markets and entering new states methodically. The immediate focus is deepening presence in existing markets — adding more drivers in cities where demand is outpacing supply — and expanding the Meeld Express platform to handle larger order volumes for enterprise clients.
